Company Statement:

The Site and the entirety of its Content are owned by Mindful Counseling Professionals, PLLC and/or Latoya Toller. We collect personally identifiable information which is detailed below as well as anonymous information through the Site. Anonymous information is that which cannot be linked to the identity of a specific person and may be used to gather information about the number of visits to the Site or a certain Site page within a period of time.

 

We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your Protected Health Information (PHI) which will only be used in accordance with the Privacy Policy/ Terms of Use. Your Protected Health information (PHI) will only be distributed in accordance with state and federal law and based on the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics. We reserve the right to change or amend this Privacy Policy/Terms of Use at any time without notice to you. To maintain ethical requirements and safe standards of practice as members of the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors and/or Board of North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Workers the following information may be provided about you without authorization, however not every use or disclosure in a category is listed:

  • Information to coordinate services with referral resources

  • Information to authorities for investigation of child or elder/ abuse or neglect

As a Licensee, you agree and understand that the Site, Services, and/or Products have been written and developed by us with significant investment. 8. No Claims Made Regarding Results:

Each client and his/her circumstances are unique and nothing shall be interpreted as a guarantee that you will experience the same results as another individual.

Please allow 24 hours notice by email for the cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Services will be billed for appointments cancelled or not attended without sufficient notice. Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled by sending an email to notify of the change to: info@mindfulcounselingnc.com.

10. Payment & Purchases:

When you Purchase our Services, you may pay by American Express, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover, or your health services account (HSA). As appropriate, you give Mindful Counseling Professionals, PLLC permission to automatically charge your credit card for payment. You will receive an electronic receipt following your Purchase, which you should retain for your records. We do not accept any chargeback threats (real or threatened). If any chargebacks are placed on a Purchase or Download of our Services, and Products, we will report said incident to the major credit reporting agencies.

Payment processing companies may have different privacy policies and practices than we do. We are not responsible for the policies of the payment processing companies. As with any online purchase, there are circumstances beyond our control which may compromise your credit card or payment method. We are not liable or responsible for any of those circumstances.

You hereby release us from any and all damages related to your payment or use of our payment processing companies in which you incur and further agree not to assert any claims against us or them for any damages which arise from your Purchase or use of our Site and its Content.​​
